Where do FINE products come from?

FINE products originate from Korea and are made using Swiss Bühler technology, with ingredients that are mainly organic and naturally sourced.

What is Swiss Bühler technology, and how does it benefit FINE products?

Bühler is a Swiss group specializing in food and pet food processing technology. FINE uses this technology in production to ensure safety and consistent quality in every piece of kibble, in line with international food safety and hygiene standards.

What makes FINE different from other kibbles?

B. Ingredients and Nutrition

What are the main ingredients in FINE?

FINE is made from five main groups of ingredients:

1. Whole grains: Brown rice, organic oat, barley and buckwheat.
2. Animal protein: Natural hydrolyzed protein from animal sources such as chicken, duck, beef, lamb and salmon.
3. Seeds, seed oils and superfoods: Flaxseed, organic sunflower seed meal, sesame seed meal, pumpkin seed, cranberry and rosemary extract.
4. 12 vegetables and fruits: Carrot, pumpkin, sweet potato, organic green pea, beet pulp, apple, orange, mango, strawberry, banana, tomato and broccoli.
5. Nutritional supplements: Taurine, L-carnitine, yucca extract, vitamins (A, D3, B-complex, C) and minerals (Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, I).

What is hydrolyzed protein? Is FINE truly non-allergenic?

Hydrolyzed protein is protein that has been broken down into smaller fragments, making it easier to absorb and less likely to be recognized by the immune system as a foreign invader. FINE uses natural hydrolyzed protein, which helps reduce the risk of allergic reactions.

What does the organic fiber in FINE do?

The natural fiber in FINE supports digestion, helps reduce stool odor and contributes to a stronger immune system. In cats, fiber also helps control hairballs.

Where does the omega-3 and omega-6 in FINE come from, and what are the benefits?

The omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in FINE come from salmon, fish oil and seeds. They help care for the skin and give a smoother coat. In the dog formula, DHA and EPA from fish, fish oil and seeds also support eye health, heart health and memory.

Does FINE cat food contain taurine?

Yes. Taurine is part of FINE’s supplement blend and is an essential nutrient for cats. Together with rosemary extract, cranberry and other minerals, taurine helps support the immune system.

What cat formulas does FINE offer?

FINE offers three dry cat food formulas by life stage, as shown in the table below:

Which FINE formula is best for kittens?

Kittens aged 3 to 12 months should eat FINE Kitten, with 36% crude protein and 14% crude fat. The protein comes from chicken, salmon and hydrolyzed meat, suited to this stage of rapid growth. The kibble contains vitamins A and E and antioxidants, organic fiber, omega-3 and omega-6 from salmon and seeds, plus taurine, rosemary and cranberry to support immunity. The small 6.42 mm kibble size is ideal for kittens.

Which FINE formula is best for adult cats?

Cats over 12 months old should eat FINE Adult, with 34% crude protein and 12% crude fat. The formula contains calcium, phosphorus and yucca to help balance urinary pH, support urinary tract health and reduce the risk of stone formation. The kibble also supports digestion, reduces stool odor, helps control hairballs and, thanks to omega-3 and omega-6, cares for skin and coat.

Which cats is FINE All Life Stages (ALS) suitable for?

FINE ALS (All Life Stages) is suitable for cats at every stage, from kittens to adults, with 29% crude protein and 10% crude fat. It is a convenient choice for households with several cats of different ages. The formula also contains calcium, phosphorus and yucca to support the urinary tract, along with organic fiber and omega-3 and omega-6.

Is high-protein cat food really better?

Protein helps build muscle, skin, coat and tissue, supports antibody production and provides energy. According to AAFCO recommendations, adult cats need a minimum of about 26% protein and kittens about 30%.

However, “high” does not necessarily mean “better.” Protein needs depend on life stage, activity level and the health of each individual pet. Excess protein can put strain on the kidneys and liver and lead to obesity. FINE’s protein comes mainly from high-quality animal sources, at standard levels suited to each stage of a cat’s life.

D. FINE Dry Food for Dogs

What dog formulas does FINE offer?

FINE offers one dry food line for dogs of all life stages, in four flavors: beef, lamb, duck and salmon.

1. 26% crude protein, suited to dogs’ everyday nutritional needs.
2. About 350 kcal per 100 g; 11% moisture.
3. Kibble size of about 9 mm; natural brown color.
4. Packaging: 1.36 kg per bag, 8 bags per case.

Is FINE dog food good for bones and joints?

Yes. The formula is supplemented with calcium and glucosamine, which help strengthen bones, support muscle development and support joint cartilage. The kibble also provides complete nutrition for dogs’ daily activities.

Which FINE flavor should I choose for a dog with a history of allergies?

FINE dog food comes in four different protein flavors (beef, lamb, duck and salmon) and uses hydrolyzed protein to reduce the risk of allergic reactions. If your dog has previously been allergic to a particular protein, avoid it and choose another flavor. When switching to a new food, monitor your dog’s skin, coat and digestion; if you notice anything unusual, consult your veterinarian.

Is FINE suitable for small breeds, large breeds and puppies?

Yes. FINE all-life-stages dog food has an easy-to-chew kibble of about 9 mm. It delivers pure nutrition from nature with more than 70% organic ingredients, a moderate 26% protein level, added fiber to support digestion, omega-3 and omega-6 for skin and coat, and a blend of vitamins and minerals to strengthen immunity.

E. Feeding and Storage

How much FINE should I feed my dog or cat each day?

The amount depends on your pet’s weight, age and activity level. Refer to the feeding guide (grams per day, by body weight) printed on the packaging.

How do I switch to FINE safely?

Transition gradually over 7–10 days so your pet’s digestive system can adjust. For example: for the first 2–3 days, mix about 25% FINE with 75% of the old food; for the next 2–3 days, increase to 50%; then 75%; and finally 100% FINE. If your pet vomits or has persistent diarrhea, stop and consult your veterinarian.

How should I store FINE, and what is the shelf life?

The shelf life is 18 months from the manufacturing date (printed on the packaging).

Store the kibble in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and reseal the package tightly after opening.
